In late 2002, Korzeniowski had the world record of 3hr 36min for the 50km walk, and won this event at the .Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, and Athens 2004 Olympics!!! He was also the first to win the Olympic 20km/50km walk double in the Sydney 2000 Olympics!!!
